HOW TO VOTE
Either vote by post or proxy (see below) or vote in person on Thursday 6th May: Find your polling station here and remember you don’t need your polling card to vote. Polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm.
If you have a postal vote, return it by 6th May or take it into any polling station on the day.
Register for a postal vote before 5pm on 20th April so that you can vote safely, securely and early.
If you don’t want a postal vote but think you won’t be able to vote in person on 6th May then you can apply for a proxy vote before 5pm on 27th April.
If after 5pm on 27th April, due to working away or illness (including Covid and self-isolating) you cannot attend the polling station, you can apply for a proxy vote until 5pm on 6th May.
Visit https://www.sthelens.gov.uk/council/councillors-elections-voting/elections/postal-votes/ or call the St Helens Borough Council elections team on 01744 676464 to register for a postal vote or proxy vote.
