The report features special reports on Funding for Essential Services by Cllr Martin Bond, Fostering by Cllr Nova Charlton, and Inclusive Growth by Cllr Kate Groucutt, as well as updates on major topics affecting our borough including:
- Supporting communities with the cost of living
- Investing in children and young people
- Fighting for healthier, safer communities
- Delivering regeneration, growth and jobs
- Working for a cleaner, greener borough
- Celebrating our local heritage and culture
Council Leader David Baines says: “There are no local elections here for three years but Labour are determined to keep in touch with residents and be as open as possible about our work leading the Council.
This report features many of the highlights from what has already been a packed year, and our thanks go to Council staff, partner agencies and all those who are working with us for a better borough.”
