The new Ashurst Primary School is taking shape. As these pictures show, the building’s steel frame is now up, ongoing work is taking place to the first floor external walls, and the ground floor is ready for the concrete pour.
Blackbrook Labour Councillors Anthony Burns, Linda Maloney and Paul McQuade say: “It’s great to see this progress. It’s been a long time coming and it’s something we’ve fought hard for, so we’re delighted to see it and can’t wait for the new school to open. Our children right across the borough deserve the very best facilities and we’ll continue to do everything we can to provide them.”
