Council Leader David Baines says: “It was great to visit both Omega West and the Parkside Link Road project recently to take a look at construction progress on both sites, which will bring thousands of new jobs and opportunities to the borough.
We’re working hard to deliver local jobs and it’s already bearing fruit, with residents already accessing full time work and apprenticeships.
We’ll soon be agreeing our Inclusive Growth Strategy which will embed this further – in everything we do we want local people and businesses at the front of the queue for opportunities.”
