This is be a traumatic time for some of us, with Johnson’s lies and Covid back in the news as we mark the third anniversary of the first lockdown.
While Johnson partied, we followed the rules. His present attempts at the inquiry to gaslight an entire nation won’t work.
Our thoughts as always are first and foremost with those who lost loved ones during the pandemic, and who were unable to say goodbye properly – or at all. It is difficult to imagine such heartbreak.
We hope Johnson gets what he deserves, and we hope the rest of us remember with pride the efforts we all made, together, to get through it.
