The mobile food pantry van is going to help target support where it's needed most

The cost of living continues to cause huge worry for residents and service providers. We are continuing to do all we can to work together with partners from the local public, private, faith and voluntary sectors.

We continue to support the network of local food banks and food pantries, and a mobile pantry van is now up and running and helping to get support to where it’s needed most. Find out more about food support at https://www.sthelens.gov.uk/article/6987/Food-banks-and-food-support.

Since the new year there have been several cost of living support events held across the borough, including one on February 9th at the town hall with dozens of partner agencies present to offer advice and support to residents, and our Labour council will be working with Job Centre Plus and other partners to put on more events in the weeks ahead.

Advice and support is available online at www.sthelens.gov.uk/sthelenstogether.
