Earlestown Labour Councillors have reacted to the plans for major transformation and investment in the town centre which were unveiled yesterday.

Dave Banks and Jeanette Banks said: “We’re delighted to present these plans to the public and to ask for your input and support. The plans are ambitious, deliverable, and just what our town centre needs.

Earlestown has a proud heritage, lots of successful local businesses, and a thriving and historic market. There’s no better time to come down to the town centre and support local businesses.

Labour said we were committed to delivering this investment and we meant it! These plans will help to make sure our future is a bright one.”

The plans are available to read in full at www.earlestown.co.uk and will go to Cabinet next Wednesday (20th October). If approved, they will then go out to public consultation from 1st November.
