Stuart Barton, Labour candidate for Bold on Thursday 6th May, and Cllr Lisa Preston are working hard to keep Bold tidy, joining residents in litter picking and reporting flytipping to the council.
Stuart says: “We will not tolerate fly tipping of any sort and will work tirelessly to combat these issues. Myself and Cllr Lisa Preston will be out and about in the next few days and weeks and as the restrictions start to ease will do regular checks in areas to get them cleaned up. We will work with residents to stop fly tipping from affecting our community. If you have any concerns, please get in touch.”
Lisa says: “Stuart has the values, morals and principles that the Labour Party hold and are proud of. He is hard working, from a humble background, from a mining family, very down to earth, approachable and understands fully the issues people are concerned about. He is a hands on person that will fully ‘roll up his sleeves’ and get stuck into the issues at hand and make the area an even greater place to live.”
