Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram, Conor McGinn MP, Marie Rimmer MP, Councillor David Baines and the region’s political leaders have written to Arriva calling for the most senior levels of management to get involved to come to a resolution to the ongoing bus strike.
In the letter, they highlight the impacts on the local economy, people’s ability to get about and potential disruption caused when schools, colleges and universities return.
Workers deserve a fair deal and Arriva need to get their act together urgently.
