Thank You
Thank You

We’re delighted to say that St Helens Borough Labour have won the local elections with the most votes and seats, winning Newton and Bold after losing both in 2019, regaining Windle, and holding Blackbrook and Sutton despite a flurry of activity from other parties.

We’re also delighted that Steve Rotheram and Emily Spurrell were both elected with huge majorities for the posts of Metro Mayor and Police and Crime Commissioner, and we look forward to working together with them both for the good of our whole borough.

Thank you to each and every person who voted Labour. We don’t take any vote for granted and we never will. To those we couldn’t convince this time, we’ll work even harder in the months ahead to win your trust.

Labour are making great progress in St Helens borough:

👉 Our 2019 vote share in the local elections was 36.4%
👉 Our 2021 vote share is 41.9% ⬆️
Thank you to all the brilliant St Helens Borough Council staff for making sure the elections were safe and secure 👏
We will now get back to work for you, your family and our great borough.
Labour are on your side, and we always will be. 🌹
